The equestrian center at Monte Vista Christian School in Watsonville, California provides a unique opportunity for students in grades 6-12 to experience the joy of caring for and riding horses on their school campus. This equestrian program in Santa Cruz County is led by Belmont Training Stable, a well-equipped riding school offering horse boarding, training, and horseback riding lessons for students who reside in the surrounding Morgan Hill, Gilroy, Santa Cruz, Salinas, and San Jose areas. Students are able to take a break from the regular school routine and come to the barn to experience horseback riding in the two large horse arenas.
